HIGHLIGHTS
Corporate
• Existing Superior-led joint-venture discussions: Superior’s discussions with several large, well-funded parties regarding potential joint venture arrangements for the Greenvale Project advanced significantly during the Quarter.
• Global Transaction Process Launched: In addition, Superior initiated a new formal, structured and adviser-led process targeting international tier-one and other strategic mining groups to unlock Greenvale’s broader province-scale base metal potential. The process has attracted strong third-party interest to date.
• The two processes are progressing in parallel and complement one another.
Exploration
• As previously announced, Superior remains focused on disciplined capital allocation to maximise shareholder value. Accordingly, Superior’s exploration planning has considered ongoing Joint Venture discussions and opportunities to optimise drill-rig utilisation.
• Recent progress on joint venture discussions has provided Superior with greater clarity in assessing and prioritising its near-term exploration activities.
• Superior is currently developing a range of near-term exploration programmes across several gold and copper projects, including Steam Engine (gold), Halls Reward (copper-gold), Telegraph (copper-gold), Bottletree (copper), Cockie Creek (copper) and Wyandotte (copper)
• Currently, planned drilling at Steam Engine, Halls Reward and Telegraph remains consistent with the previously announced programmes. Superior will provide further details to shareholders on its finalised exploration programmes in due course.
Steam Engine Gold Project
• A review and analysis of geological datasets across the broader Steam Engine project area has commenced, to develop and evaluate resource expansion drilling programmes.
• Feasibility Study workstreams have continued, assessing a toll-treatment and standalone development pathway.
• In parallel, funding and financing processes continued, following the engagement of a U.S.-based global advisory firm.
• Multiple additional major resources companies have now expressed interest in Steam Engine and the gold potential of the greater Greenvale Project.
